How You Can Get Paid to Take Free Surveys Online

It does not cost you anything to take paid online surveys. They are free (to the participant) surveys. What makes it interesting is the getting paid part! O.K. Here's how you can get paid to take free surveys online.

First. You need to start getting signed up with the survey-makers, the ones who send out the invitations to take surveys and write the checks.

You will need to file an application with each one separately. There are 3,000 of these worldwide, 700+ in the U.S. alone. And they all compete with each other, so... individual applications.

Second. You will need a list of these survey makers, with their requirements and e-mail addresses. There are basically two ways you can get such a list, free and paid.

Free. Just Google "paid surveys", Paid online surveys or similar and you will find oodles of "survey makers" just begging you to sign up.

Be careful here. A good deal less than half of these are companies you want to deal with. Some are really sales companies whose objective is to sell you stuff.

Some will sell your demographic info (name, gender, age, street address, zip code, income bracket, hobbies and interests, etc.) to sales companies who will pester you half to death trying to sell you everything imaginable.

Some will say they will pay, but actually won't. Some will offer you a ticket to a drawing, and if you win you get money. Many will just waste your time.

The worst ones generally make the most noise, run the most ads, make the wildest claims, trying to find another set of suckers to skin.

Get a separate free (disposable) email address, and brace yourself. If you are in the U.S. you will need to make application to 700+ survey makers, then sort them out over time. You can do it, just be patient.

Paid. There are over a hundred more or less acceptable paid survey guide companies out there that maintain lists of which survey makers are good and which should be avoided. They charge a one-time fee of $24 to $60 for a current updated copy of their list.

Most people find that it saves a great deal of time, hassle and work to select and go with a good paid survey guide company.

To choose a good one, pick one that has:

A. A strong money-back guarantee, backed up by a bank or financial company such as PayPal or ClickBank.

B. A low refund rate. The refund rate is the best measure of client satisfaction. Low refund rates mean happy clients. High refund rates indicate many unhappy clients. Look for a refund rate of 3.0% to 5.0%, which is ideal. Avoid any with unknown refund rates or refund rates over 10.0%.

When you sign up and get your copy of the list, you will need to make applications with all the recommended survey makers, which should be between 250 and 400 of them. Sign up with the ones who pay in cash first.

[Note: You may find "Free" sites out there that offer you a list of survey makers "for free". You want to avoid these. They are generally getting paid by second tier or not recommendable sites to send you to places you would rather not be!

When you hire a guide in a strange place, make sure you are paying him (with an option for a refund if he steers you wrong). The ones you pay will more likely send you to where you want to go. The ones others pay will steer you to where they want you to go.]

Third. Start signing up with survey makers on your list. Work at it in stages until you have applied to all the good ones.

Fourth. Operate your paid survey work as a business. Get a separate e-mail address, keep good records, answer all correspondence promptly and accept all surveys you are offered. After you are well-established (in 3-6 months) you can start to high-grade the surveys and only take the higher-paying ones, if you choose.

In Summary, you can get paid to take free surveys online if you follow the above steps.

How much money will you make?

Most serious survey-takers report monthly incomes of $200 to $600. Some report incomes of $1,000 and more.

The amount of money you make when you get paid to take free surveys online will depend on:

1. The number of good survey-makers that have your application on file and in good standing.
2. Your diligence in attending to this business.
3. Your personal demographics.
